Our Marias watch is named after the river where Lewis and Clark’s journey took an unexpected turn. After crossing the plains, Lewis ventured off to explore the river’s headwaters, while the rest of the team faced a tense encounter with the Blackfeet warriorsfortunately, no harm was done. The beige color symbolizes the explorers efforts to build trust with the Native tribes they encountered. It reflects a moment of calm before the challenges of the Rocky Mountains, a reminder that even in the face of uncertainty, forging connections and resilience lead the way.
